The Blue Economy has gained increasing global recognition as a framework for promoting sustainable economic growth through the responsible use of ocean and aquatic resources. As marine industries expand, there is a growing demand for original research that can generate new knowledge and guide sustainable policies and practices. This article explains the systematic steps for conducting original research on Blue Economy topics. It highlights key stages such as identifying a research problem, reviewing relevant literature, developing research objectives and questions, designing an appropriate methodology, collecting and analyzing data, and presenting research findings. The article also emphasizes ethical considerations and sustainability in marine research. By following a structured research process, scholars can produce reliable results that support sustainable ocean governance and marine resource management. The study concludes that rigorous research is essential for advancing the Blue Economy and ensuring the sustainable use of marine resources.
